Thanks for the patch.  This is a useful change.

There's an internal one but we've not yet gotten things into place for
public contributions.

In order to centralise copyrights on OpenAMQ, we ask that patches be
licensed under the MIT license.  If you could confirm that you are
willing to publish your patch under this license, we can use it.
