There are two ways.  One is to use the console interface (see
http://www.openamq.org/library.html).  The other is are use the
console API, which is provided by the amq_mgt_*.icl set of classes.
I'm sorry to say this is not fully documented.  If you look at the
amq_shell.c application you can see how it works.
