It seems to me that your source tree is somehow corrupted.

Can you please verify that:

1) You used a new, empty, $IBASE for the build.

2) The .tar.gz file has been downloaded and unpacked correctly?
   (Check the downloaded file size, it should be 

-rw-r--r--  1 mato root 8744994 2007-08-24 21:16 OpenAMQ-1.2c3.tar.gz

One other thing that comes to mind, are you trying to build a
single-threaded build?  (BOOM_MODEL contains 'st')?

It's possible that we did not test the st build correctly for the 1.2c3
release, I'll check now and get back to you.
