That seems to suggest that the bug isn't in SMT but in either APR.  I'm 
going to discuss this with the person who looks at that side of things. 
  He's in Western Europe and isn't known for being an early riser so 
chances are we won't have a response by the time you're in front of a 
computer this morning.

As far as debugging goes, what would be the chances of our logging 
directly onto your box to try debugging?  Wouldn't have to be your 
account if you are able to create a guest account.  Otherwise we'll have 
to continue with debug over email or over IRC.
