   That's strange. I have Ubuntu installed on my notebook and OpenAMQ
   works OK.

   1. Is the code you are using already running on a different
   platoform?  Which one?

Windows.

   2. Is it a multithreaded or singlethreaded build?

MT / debug

(Never did get the ST build problems resolved)

   2. May you have a look at what are individual threads doing
   (backtraces would be ideal) when the app hangs?

Hmm. Can I do that without having to attack it with a debugger?
