That does not surprise me.  See me comments about thread safety in
WireAPI in the reply to Nick.

My suggestion would be that if you can wait another couple of weeks, we
will release a native JMS client for AMQP which should be a much better
path to try than JNI. We can't really help you much with JNI since we
don't have any experience with it here.

Unfortunately I can't give you any concrete date for the JMS client
release other than "Real Soon Now", since it depends on legal paperwork
not under our control.
