Seems I was too eager to get these out.  I actually extended PAL to
support a <read> command so I could emulate Martin's instant-message
program in PAL.

The webserver example is, of course, not a webserver at all... what it
does is look for a file specified by the message-id and return that to
the requestor.

Looking at the code, it's actually a bit broken (it should not use a
fanout exchange), and I'll make it cleaner, and also provide a simple
example client.
